What we expect from you:
- Should be a hands-on software developer.
- Should have experience in building REST APIs using Django Rest Framework.
- Should be comfortable with shell, python, and SQL scripts.
- Should have at least a basic understanding of various CI/CD and DevOps tools.
- Should be comfortable with using Git Version control for software development.
- A background in other backend programming languages such as Node.js is a plus.
- A background in Mobile / Web app development is also a plus.
We expect you to take up the following responsibilities
Requirement Gathering :
- Should be able to interact with various stakeholders (internal and external) to understand the functionality that needs to be built.
- Should be able to identify technical challenges prior to implementation and suggest alternate practical solutions that fulfill the needs of the stakeholders.
Implementation :
- Should have a deep understanding of Software Architecture and Design Principles.
- Should be able to identify flags during product development & proactively find resolutions so as to not impact release cycle.
- Should also be able to prioritize issues appropriately as and when they arise (Production issue or within a testing cycle).
Deployment and Monitoring :
- Should be able to manage server-side deployments (manual, with a few existing scripts and processes).
- Should be able to prepare ad hoc reports using server-side scripting as and when required by Stakeholders.
- Should be willing to contribute to further streamlining of deployment and monitoring processes.
